BIOGRAPHY
1960 — Born in Leningrad.
1982 — Graduates from the Leningrad Institute of Cinema Technicians. Begins taking photog raphs.
1985 — Joins the Zerkalo Photography Club.
1987–1996 — Member of the TAK Group.
1993 — Joins the Fotopostscriptum art alliance.
1995 — Joins the Union of Photo Artists of Russia.
1996 — Joins the Svobodnaya Kultura [Free Culture] society.
1998–present — Member of the International Federation of Artists (IFA).
1999–2005 — Organizer and board member of the annual Osenny fotomarafon [Autumn Photomarathon] festival.
Director of FOTOimage Gallery and his own private museum of modern art, Muzei kantselyarskoi knopki [Thumbtack Museum]. Has participated in 90 solo and 180 group exhibitions in Russia and abroad.
