Maria Snigirevskaya. Biography

She was born in St. Petersburg in 1967. Starting from 1980 she has been doing photography (a student of Boris Smelov). From 1983 she was working as a photographer at the All-Union State Geological Institute and later in the publishing house “The Artist of USSR”. From 1986 till 2000 she was working in the State Russian Museum. Since 1992 she is a member of the Russian Union of Art Photographers. In 2007 she became a member of the Creative Artists` Union (IFA) of Saint Petersburg. In 2004 she started working in a genre of a painting. Since 2007 she is engaged in the collaborative projects with Peter Lebedev.
