Bogdan Mamonov. Tranquilizing the Memory

The Moscow Museum of Modern Art and Frolov Gallery present “Tranquilizing the Memory”, an exhibition of works by Bogdan Mamonov. Taking as an example the life of Grigory Schpeyer, the artist’s great grandfather, this exhibition project aims to look into a tragic history of the 20th century. Parts of the project have been exhibited in several museums located in Russia, Europe, and the USA. This is the first time the entire project is put on display to the public in the MMOMA.
The exhibition is organized by the Moscow Museum of Modern Art and Frolov Gallery with participation of Artwin Gallery and Sputnik Gallery.
