Cosmoscow, the only international contemporary art fair in Russia and the CIS will take place from 9-11 September 2016 at Gostiny Dvor, Moscow. Official opening and preview for collectors and experts will take place on September 8.

Abraham Lacalle - The contemporary Spanish artist Abraham Lacalle was born in Almeria in 1962. He currently lives in Madrid, Spain, and works with Marlborough Gallery. An author of over 20 solo and a participant of more than 30 group exhibitions. His artworks are in more than 20 public collections, including Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, Madrid, Spain; the Fundación Bancaria Caixa d’Estalvis i Pensions de Barcelona, Barcelona, Spain; Es Baluard Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Palma de Mallorca, Spain; Museo Municipal de Arte Contemporáneo, Madrid, Spain; Museo de Bellas Artes de Álava, Vitoria, Spain; Centro Andaluz de Arte Contemporáneo, Sevilla, Spain, etc.
Vladimir Fridkes - The famous Russian photographer Vladimir Fridkes was born in Moscow in 1956. He has been working with many famous glossy magazines such as VOGUE, Harper's BAZAAR, ELLE since their first Russian editions appeared. Starting from 1995 he is a member of AES+F – one of the most prominent and strong Russian art groups. Within the group he has participated in a number of exhibitions and biennale all around the world, including the Venice Biennale of Contemporary Art.
The art fair highlights two solo series by Vladimir Fridkes – “Ten Days Before… (Bolshoi Theatre)”, 2005 and “Svetlana Zakharova. Still Frame”, 2015. Both projects were first presented to the audience in 2011 and 2015 at Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow.
